This week, I’m speaking Kelly Wiley, Executive Director and co-founder of 2000 Roses Foundation, Inc, which assists with rehabilition and life skills for female ex-offenders and their children. Recent stats about the rate of women prisoners and their offenses (relative to men)speak to how this population is rising at an alarming rate.
Kelly was great to talk to because she did most of the talking, which made my job real easy. Enjoy the interview (which is just under 12 minutes long) ………
then, get involved! Visit Kelly and learn about immediate volunteer opportunities at the 2000 Roses Upscale Resale Shop at 841 W. Davis St., in Dallas, or call 214-941-1333, or write Kelly at: 2000Roses[at]sbcglobal[dot]net.
More nationwide opportunities to reach out to women and transgendered-identified women in prison here.
