You know, Tim Dillenger and Tim’m West are great artists in their own right, and know they prove to be a successful duo as well. The track, “You Tell Me”, also features Mid One in a soulful groove that begins this “mixtape” if you will allow my nostalgically non-digital titles. :-)

I heard the sound of Certainly, Sir! in Cambridge, MA in 2007 while on conference for my day gig at the time. I remember thinking rather unashamedly that the lead singer was a cute bear of a guy. Turns out he is gay and involved, but then again so am I. They performed “Tony” live and the keyboard bass runs were so thick and juicy that I bought their CD, TAN!, on the strength of that one performance.

Jianda tapped me at MySpace and alerted to her sweet sounds. How could I resist? She lets you know what’s “Sweet and Nice”.

More and more people are catching on to the interview I did with Reuben Butchart and wising up to his great music. Along with Antony (from Antony and the Johnson), “All there is to Tell” is such a lush highlight of both their vocal styles. You should not be without Reuben’s latest, Golden Boy.

Bringing sounds that are both reminiscent of what you love about 80’s alternative and, for me, an Irish-tinged vocal style, Christopher Wilson’s “Out There Eddy” is also good stuff to grab. Take a listen to the interview A.C. Coleman with Mandrake Society Radio did with Christopher.

Katz of Athens Boys Choir continues to bring spoken word that speak his truth about gender, politics, and rebirth. From his latest disc, Jockstraps and Unicorns, is “Erasing Too Hard”.

Owing also all their CDs, one of my favorite pop groups, The Aluminum Group, has released their latest disc, Little Happyness, and I couldn’t be happier. Listen to the “The World Doesn’t Spin on Us” and tell me that tune won’t play in your mind long after. Go buy some music, will ya?!
