Podcast: Play in new window
I was introduced to Joe Chester by a friend on Last.fm (who makes great dance mixes, by the way) and I liked the song, “The Bodies Start to Move” so much that I recently purchased the album download on eMusic. The production style gives a hat tip to alt-rock of the 80′s and I like the lyrical phrasing in the aforementioned song plus “To Hold Onto Melting Love” and “Alarms”. The songs speak to my romantically melancholy side.

This song is brilliant. Not overly original but brilliant. I love and have missed this type of sound being an integrated part of pop.
