Okay, this has got to be my most pop-sounding “mixtape”, but I LOVE it!! These are singles that I’ve been digging for the past few weeks, and I simply must share.

If you don’t already own the soulful, goodness of Jazzanova’s latest, Of All The Things, please wait no longer. Taking some cues from the 70’s Philly Sound, the singles sound ever fresh. Take the track, “Let Me Show Ya”, and hear what I mean.
I’d never heard the group, The Campaign for Real-Time, until I downloaded their stuff from eMusic and “Shout” has become a fun ditty I’ve found myself singing more than once.
I’ve written here about Joe Chester and this single, “The Bodies Start to Move”, has become a favorite of mine for 2008.
Switching up to R&B, Noelle’s playful, dance groove “Do It” reminds me of what a second single from Paula Abdul would sound like.
What’s a party without some rap, huh? People Under the Stairs make it old-school and fun with “Party Enemy #1″.
Australia’s Hot Little Hands brings an melancholy-80’s flavored pop number, “Lonely Hands”.
“Supa Soul” by Astronauts of Antiquity brings a touch of lounge and jazz to the mix.
Rounding things out would be The Fireman with Sir McCartney himself proclaiming that we’ll “Dance till We’re High”, and indeed whether slow or fast, we will do just that.

Nice little mix. I enjoyed it all the way through. I believe this is a better Noelle selection than the one we had previously discussed.
What’s funny about that, Freddie, it’s the same Noelle song we talked about before.
Hmmm? Sounds different to me. Is it a different mix?
