So while some friends of mine groove at the new Oak Cliff gay spot, Jack’s Backyard, I’m uploading a new mixtape over at Mandrake FM and enjoying the responses of Aux.78 at popolio. This has been a crazy week at work so I look forward to this weekend’s chill.
While I’m finishing Conjuring Black Funk this weekend, I’m about to order Tuan N’Gai’s latest, Little Brown Boy’s Blues, and Tim Dillinger’s Snapshots.
Also on the podcast front, my man in Brooklyn, Michael Harren a.k.a Mikeypod, is featuring a great interview of musician, Reuben Butchart. this past week and you can hear it here. Since I last talked with Reuben on MSR podcast, he’s produced a video for the single, “Come and Play”, and is working on new music. You’ll hear a new work from him in Michael’s show. Yea!!
