Owner and founder of AfroerotiK.com and frequent contributor to this site, Scottie Lowe, wrote an interesting blog on her search for an openly Bisexual man. Here’s an excerpt:
I’m interested in openly bisexual Black men for many reasons, primarily because I’m attracted to men who have let go of absurd notions of gender and sexuality. I’m interested in bisexual men who can acknowledge that their manhood and masculinity aren’t defined by how they experience pleasure. I’m only attracted to men who can distance themselves from the misogynist, patriarchal, sexist, oppressive notions of what it is to be man and how society tells men to relate to women.

Uhm…is that a picture of an openly bisexual Black man? (LOL)
No, but it made you look, huh? LOL!
I don’t think it matters whether the man pictured is openly bisexual or not. The most important issue is the fact that Black culture is fostering down low behavior with its glorification of womanizers and it’s demonization of same gender loving men. It’s okay for us to turn a blind eye to the supposed “sin” of black female bisexuality as long as it means a brotha might get a chance to get more pussy. Openly Black bisexual men are closeted, shamed, and insecure in their sexuality, which leads to deception. That deception is not greater or worse than the deception of heterosexual black men but it certainly leads to the perpetuation of homophobia and dysfunctional sexual standards.
