Despite the latest rants, albeit warranted, about Rick Warren giving the invocation at the inauguration, Rev. Joseph Lowry, a same-sex marriage supporter is giving the benediction. Rick Warren was an ardent supporter California’s Prop 8. Given the program’s order, perhaps this year’s inauguration is a (de)sign of things to come.
