A unique festival for LGBT writers of African/African-American descent is happening this fall in Austin, TX. The event, Fire and Ink III: The Cotillion, will be October 8 – 11th, sponsored by the University of Texas at Austin/Center for African & African American Studies and allgo. I’ve been waiting for this event and I’m looking forward to sharing and recording stories. Incidentally, the event envelops National Coming Out Day 2009, and looks to be a very special time to share such a story. For out more at http://www.fireandink.org.
