I’m speaking with songwriter and vocalist, Patsy Moore, on the podcast today. Patsy Moore was a special musical guest, along with Tim Dillinger, at the September Mandrake Arts & Media anniversary event in Dallas at Jack’s Backyard.
My familiarity with Patsy’s work comes from her two CDs released in the 90’s on the Warner Alliance boutique label serving both the Contemporary Christian and pop music markets. Her lyrical, musical stories are indeed spiritual without the weight of dogma. So along with her musical influences and background, we discuss the Contemporary Christian scene and its challenges to both songwriters and listeners (as I heavily was at the time I discovered her music).
