While at Fire & Ink III in Austin, Texas, I met up with illustrator as well as mystery and horror writer, Victor Hodge. His Black Gay Boy Fantasy mini-comic about Black gay life in Washington D.C. started as a comic strip for 1996 Black Lesbian and Gay Pride Guide and has been produced now for over ten years. Victor has since posted the issues online at http://blackgayboy.virtualave.net/ and the new illustrations add to what’s now become a webcomic.
You can enjoy more assorted illustrations, discussion of Victor’s other graphic novels, and sundry life musings at his main blog. Also, if you’d really like to see the Simpsons characters as you’ve never see them before, check out his adult illustrations here (Of course, NSFW).
To purchase the work of Victor Hodge (as well as other gay graphic artists), visit Prism Comics website.
