Dallas queer film series spotlights local families of Black gay siblings

This month, Fahari Arts Institute, in cooperation with Black Cinematheque Dallas, Q-RocTV, The Senators, and the South Dallas Cultural Center will be screening Thomas Allan Harris’ 1995 documentary, Vintage: Families of Value, on Sunday, December 20th, at 6:30pm at the South Dallas Cultural Center, 3400 Fitzhugh Ave, in Dallas. There is a $5 admission fee.

Vintage: Families of Value is an experimental documentary that looks at three African American families through the eyes of lesbian and gay siblings — including the filmmaker and his younger brother. Immediately follow the screening of Vintage: Families of Value, there will be a talkback with a panel of local black gay siblings.
